Valley Waste Disposal Overview
The Valley Waste Disposal landfill has served the communities in the Lewis Clark Valley since 1986. The landfill was permitted by the State of Idaho to accept demolition, construction and other waste as listed below. The project began with a master plan to insure that clean waste is securely deposited. Since the opening day, the landfill has exceeded all state and federal environmental requirements.
Landfill Operations
Valley Waste Disposal can accept Non-upholstered furniture, roofing materials, insulation, siding, metal, brick, concrete, asphalt, most lumber and wood, dirt, tree stumps, fencing, friable, non-friable asbestos and more. Idaho Public Health Department requires landfill operations to inspect loads for prohibited material.
Please call 208-746-8243 if you have concerns about acceptable materials or to discuss procedures for accepting asbestos.
Please note we can no longer take fiberglass boats, campers, motor homes, mattresses, box springs, upholstered furniture or large amounts of grass (grass can be deposited at the compost facility). Mobile Homes can only be accepted if stripped of all appliances and contents. If you pull them in you will be responsible for pulling the tires and taking them with you. WE DO NOT TAKE TIRES!
Hauling Construction Debris (roll-off bins)
Valley Waste Disposal offers 30 and 40 yard roll-off containers at competitive prices. These containers are transported to and from the construction site by our driver.

The VWD roll off service area is Lewiston and surrounding Idaho areas.
Landfill Dumping Fee
Disposal of construction debris is $47.73 per ton. The minimum charge is $7.00.
Our Asbestos pit is currently full! We will not be accepting asbestos at this time!
Top Soil and Fill Dirt
We can take "clean" dirt for a reduced rate. It can not have any sod, gravel, rocks, concrete, etc. (Dirt will be $47.73 per ton if it contains any debris).
Landfill Service Area and Location
The Valley Waste Disposal landfill can accept demolition, construction and other waste from any location regardless of city, county or state. The landfill is open to the public and there is no need to show proof of residence. WE DO NOT ACCEPT HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE, TIRES, PAINT OR RAILROAD TIES.
VWD is located at 29261 Highway 95, Lewiston, Id.
Take the first exit to the right after traveling 1 1/2 miles north of Lewiston on Highway 95.

VWD is open 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday.
Closed Sundays and holidays listed below:
(New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas).
When a holiday falls on a Sunday we will be closed Monday. If it falls on a Saturday we will close Friday.
We accept cash, checks, debit & credit cards on site. Recurring customers can establish an account and be billed monthly.
